We Have All Been Sick

We have all been sick for awhile--that is why we haven't been keeping up!  We had a nice Thanksgiving at my grandma's house with most of my family.  It was nice not to have to go anywhere.  My birthday was Saturday and John made the most amazing cake for me.  I'm going to put some pictures of that on here and then kind of backtrack with some older photos.

So we have some good friends, the Revelli's, (the same friend who took our pictures) who are devout BYU fans.  We favor Utah, so it's always a bit of a joke between us.  Their son is Mary's best buddy, Micah, and we wanted to get pictures of Mary and Micah in their opposing shirts.  Mary always talks about how Micah likes "PIU" and yesterday she said, I don't like PIU I like Utah! She is just repeating what John and I say and when she is older she can decide for herself, but for now it is cute and funny.

I'm Starting It!

I have wanted to do this for a very long time, but am very good at procrastination.  Not to mention I don't really know what I am doing.  But yesterday we got some family pictures taken and I wanted to be able to share them.  I thought this might be the best way.  Mary is definitely the best thing about these pictures.  I was not optimistic being that she cried while getting ready for and driving to the pictures, but she ended up having a delightful time.  We had a good friend take the pictures and afterward Mary said that she had a "fun time with Micah's Mommy."  So here are some of those pictures.  And here's hoping that I figure out how to do this better and continue with it!
